GENO Provider Privacy Policy

1. Summary

This Privacy Policy explains how GENO Wellness Ltd. handles information when wellness professionals use the GENO Provider app and portal.

  • GENO collects the information needed to verify providers, operate bookings, support client communication and route earnings.
  • GENO does not sell provider profiles, client messages or earnings information.
  • Private session notes remain confidential and are not part of a provider's public profile.

2. Information We Collect

Provider onboarding may include legal and display names, email, phone number, country, date of birth, identification, professional credentials, profile photo, biography, specialties, languages, tax information and payout destination.

Operational information can include availability, bookings, services, earnings, platform fees, payout records, provider notes, client messages, reviews and ratings. Device information may include app version, operating system, approximate region, diagnostic logs and notification token.

The Provider app does not request Health Connect data, precise GPS location, contacts, SMS or call logs. Device biometrics remain on the device and are used only for local unlock.

3. How Information Is Used

GENO uses provider information to verify identity and credentials, publish approved profile information, operate bookings and sessions, deliver notifications, route earnings, prevent fraud, maintain platform security and meet tax, anti-money-laundering and other legal obligations.

4. Public and Private Information

Customers may see your approved display name, photo, public biography, specialties, rate and reviews. They do not see your private phone number, email address, identification documents, tax information or payout destination.

Provider notes and client messages are handled as confidential operational information. Providers also have responsibilities under applicable privacy and professional rules for information their clients share with them.

5. Sharing

GENO does not sell provider or client information. Data may be disclosed to competent tax, financial crime, court or data protection authorities when legally required. If GENO is reorganized or acquired, information may transfer under the same privacy commitments.

6. Security

GENO uses encryption, one-way password hashing, restricted access, audit practices and security review. Responsible security disclosures can be sent to security@genoessence.com.

7. Retention and Account Deletion

Profile information is retained while a provider account is active. Verification, tax, booking, earnings and payout records may be retained for the period required by law. Client notes, messages, diagnostic records and backups are removed according to operational and legal retention schedules.

When an account is deleted, public profile data is removed within a reasonable period. Records that must be retained by tax, financial or professional rules are isolated from the live service.

8. Cross-Border Processing

Some service providers may process data outside Kenya or Tanzania. GENO applies contractual, technical and organizational safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

9. Your Rights

Providers may request access, correction, export, restriction or deletion of personal information. Tanzanian providers have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. Send requests to privacy@genoessence.com.

10. Provider Eligibility

GENO Provider is for adults who meet the platform's professional eligibility and verification requirements. It is not directed at children.

11. Tracking

The Provider app does not use third-party advertising SDKs, behavioural tracking pixels or session recording tools.

12. Policy Changes and Contact

Material changes will be communicated through the provider service or by email. Contact privacy@genoessence.com for privacy requests, security@genoessence.com for security disclosures and hello@genoessence.com for provider support.
